Private Lesson – Matthew Malin

Coach Matthew Malin brings a sharp, development-focused mindset to the Goalie Assistant team. Having played at multiple levels of hockey — minor, junior, and college — Matthew understands the technical and mental demands goalies face at every age and skill level.

His coaching philosophy starts with foundational skating and precise movements to help goalies efficiently get to their spots. From there, the focus shifts to smart save selection, tracking through plays, and controlling rebounds. Matthew provides real-time feedback, adjusts to each goalie’s current level, and builds sessions around what they need most.
